Oh No! What happened?
Long story. I’ll let Lillian share all when she sees you. Short version, she kinda choked, failed her second run at the road test before she even finished, started driving home with emergency brake engaged. Realized she had lost most brake function as she slowed at a stop light. Pulled off, got towed, today we replaced burned out brake drums. All’s well.
Bless her. I hope she doesn’t get discouraged. She is certainly learning how to deal with different driving situations, and what not to do. While, as a grandmother, I worry about any of them driving, as I did you and your brother, I know it is something she needs to do. I feel sure all of this will help make her a good driver. Give her a hug from me.
